Miami, 1991. When his bloodthirsty urges can no longer be ignored, young Dexter Morgan must learn to channel his inner darkness, turning from a student into a vengeful serial killer under the guidance of his father, Harry. Christian Slater was older than James Remar when Dexter (2006) first aired. Then “Dexter: Resurrection” (2025). Thank you for this series, and most importantly, a bad ending is almost impossible this time. This is exactly what I personally and, I think, most Dexter fans need after the disastrous finale of “New Blood”. I can’t wait for the next episode, the atmosphere of the original series is so strong, the cast as a whole looks great, and the main actor with Hall’s voice in the background looks like a reconstruction. The music and songs are amazing, the script for the pilot episode is also very good, everything seems to be going in the right direction, but I’m so afraid to be happy, because that’s how we all felt with the new blood.
